I've got a designer at hand, so if you like, I can let him design the production PCB from your schematics.

I'll look for the 3D data, but it wasn't fully finished yet.

You mean llke a project I started a while ago, the RetroPi?

It's currently on hold (not enough time), but I DO want to finish it.
As you can see, a fully designed and printed case for that exists already :)

EvilDragon from the DragonBox Shop here :)

No worries, we're currently setting up a new production run!

They will come back in stock eventually.
You can enter your email at the product page and will receive an email once it's back in stock again :)

It really took a while, but I've just finished a new production batch of the Retrode plugins!

You can grab them here:

The N64 plugin doesn't have controller ports included (I couldn't get the ports in quantities lower than 10,000), but the PCB is the same, so you can add them yourself if you need them.

Also, I've added transparent editions (the transparent N64 one will follow next week) and you can save some money buying all three together :)

Just a quick note:
More N64, SMS and GBx-Plugins are currently in production and should be finished in November.

However, the N64 doesn't have the connector ports, as they seem to be almost impossible to get in quantities less than 10,000.

Aaah, sorry, I didn't see the post here!

I'll release that patched firmware today.

We're reflashing with the latest firmware version before shipping :)

BTW: Morethanall (which is where we get the SMS connectors) also have 2.5mm 72pin connectors:

They don't have 90° angled ones. though.

That's great!
I haven't done much with Tototek yet, but I'm sure they'll sell it for cheaper prices as well, if I buy 1k of them.

I just ordered the PCB for more N64, SMS and GBx-Plugins, so whenever you're ready for a NES-Plugin, I'm happy to produce it as well :D

Thanks for the info!
I'll check with my production facility whether they can source these!

Okay, got the GB-Cartridge slots, now I'm only missing N64 joypad connectors.
In worst case, I'll produce N64 plugins without joypad connections.

Oh, very nice, thank you!

Gadgetoid has fixed the controller issue for Linux systems so you can use all four controllers with Linux (and the Raspberry Pi / Retropie) as well.

I'll try to get a patch for him, maybe you could include that as well :)

Regarding the controllers: I've got someone working on the Retrode firmware (he doesn't have much time), as we need it to get it to work with the planned RetroPi ( as well.

I'm only waiting for the firmware before I can launch the kickstarter...

I've already got a first beta which does work with the controllers, if you like I can post it.
