Hello,
Today I received my copy of Remute's new SNES music cartridge "The Cult of Remute".
I wanted to dump the rom so I can load it on my MiSTer. Voltage is set to 5v and firmware is .25a
Plugged in the Retrode and copy/pasted the sfc file. Problem is it is corrupt. It will not play on MiSTer or BSNES
I tried tinkering around with various CFG settings but can't get a working rom. Filesize is 1024KB
Any help to get a working dump would be GREATLY appreciated.
BSNES info page shows this:

				Update:
I was able to dump the cartridge via my Super NT. Retrode was way off in its detection.
The valid dump is HIROM not LOROM and is NTSC not PAL
Sadly I have yet to successfully dump any cart using my Retrode 2 :-(

Did you try any of the force settings (i.e., forcing hirom etc)?

As noted in the OP yes. "I tried tinkering around with various CFG settings but can't get a working rom"

What other carts have you tried to dump? I'd believe that one cart (since it is new) could be a problem, and certain carts (like sa1) need adapters, but if other carts aren't working that is a different story.

The last one I tried was 40 Winks N64. Ended up having to purchase a N64 GameShark and an old Windows 98 PC to dump it.

Any examples of officially licensed games from nintendo or sega?

All officially licensed games have been dumped already.
The main use for a device like Retrode is homebrew and other unlicensed carts, of which there are some terrific ones out nowadays

I was just trying to determine if your unit otherwise worked.

No problem. I appreciate the help. That's a actually a good point. I should test with a licensed cart. Will do that. Thank you

For what it is worth, two other newish games, unholy night and return of double dragon seem to be compatible with retried.
